Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At IPROG TECH, we strive to provide excellent SMS API services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our services, including SMS credit topups and premium tokens. By purchasing our services, you agree to this refund policy.

Important: All refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Refund requests submitted after this timeframe will not be eligible for refund.

2. SMS Credit Topups

SMS credits are prepaid credits that can be used to send SMS messages through our API. The following refund terms apply:

Unused Credits - Eligible for Refund

Timeframe: Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the purchase date and time.

Condition: Credits must be completely unused (no SMS messages sent using those credits).

Refund Amount: Full refund of the purchase amount via GCash. No processing fees will be deducted.

Example: If you purchased ₱1,000 worth of SMS credits at 2:00 PM on Monday, you have until 2:00 PM on Tuesday to request a refund (provided no credits have been used).

Partially Used Credits - Not Eligible

Once any SMS messages have been sent using the purchased credits, the topup becomes non-refundable, regardless of the time elapsed.

Credits are consumed immediately upon use and cannot be returned. Even if only 1 SMS was sent, the entire topup purchase becomes ineligible for refund.

Technical Failures - Full Refund

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using your purchased credits (e.g., service outages, API failures), we will provide a full refund of the remaining SMS credits via GCash. Please contact our support team within 48 hours of the issue.

3. Premium Tokens

Premium tokens are special API tokens that offer discount features and limitations for sending. The following refund terms apply:

Refundable Within 24 Hours

Timeframe: Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the purchase date and time.

Refund Method: Refunds will be processed as SMS credits (not cash) and added back to your account balance.

How Premium Token Refunds Work:

  • If the premium token has not been activated: Full refund as SMS credits (equivalent to the purchase amount)
  • If the premium token has been activated and used: Refund as SMS credits, but the calculation will depend on the discount percentage. The discount benefit you received will be deducted from the refund amount.

Example: If the standard SMS rate is ₱1.00 per SMS and your premium token offers a discounted rate of ₱0.90 per SMS, and you used ₱200 worth of SMS credits at the discounted rate, the discount benefit (₱0.10 per SMS) will be calculated and deducted from your refund. The refund calculation depends on the discount percentage applied to your premium token.

Important Notes

  • Premium token refunds are always processed as SMS credits, not cash refunds to your GCash account.
  • Used SMS credits from the premium token will be calculated based on the discount percentage, and the discount benefit you received will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase, regardless of activation status.

Not Eligible After 24 Hours

Refund requests submitted after 24 hours from the purchase date and time will not be eligible for refund, regardless of activation status or usage.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. 1 Contact our support team at admin+support@iprogtech.com with your refund request.
  2. 2 Include the following information in your request:
    • Your account email address
    • Transaction ID or payment reference number
    • Date and time of purchase
    • Reason for refund request
    • GCash transaction reference (for topup refunds)
  3. 3 Our support team will review your request within 3-5 business days and notify you of the decision.
  4. 4 If approved:
    • SMS Credit Topups: Refund will be processed to your GCash account within 5-10 business days.
    • Premium Tokens: Refund will be processed as SMS credits and added to your account balance within 3-5 business days.

⏰ Time-Sensitive: All refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Requests submitted after this timeframe will not be eligible for refund, regardless of usage status.

Processing Time: Refund processing times may vary. GCash refunds typically appear within 1-2 business days after approval. SMS credit refunds are added to your account immediately after processing.

5. Non-Refundable Items and Situations

The following items and situations are not eligible for refunds:

SMS credit topups that have been used (even partially) - no exceptions
Refund requests submitted after 24 hours from the time of purchase (for both topups and premium tokens)
Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms and Conditions
Fraudulent transactions or chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team
Refunds requested due to user error (e.g., accidental purchase, incorrect amount)

6. Payment Processing and Fees

We accept payments via GCash. The following applies to refunds:

No Processing Fees: Since we use GCash for payments, there are no processing fees deducted from refunds. You will receive the full refund amount.

  • SMS Credit Topups: Full refund via GCash (no fees deducted)
  • Premium Tokens: Full refund as SMS credits, calculated based on the discount percentage (discount benefit deducted)

Exception: If the refund is due to a technical failure or error on our part, we will process a full refund immediately without any deductions.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may:

Contact Us: Reach out to our support team with additional information or documentation that may support your refund request. We are committed to fair resolution of all disputes.

Legal Rights: This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Philippine law. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) or seek legal counsel.

8. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify registered users via email for material changes
  • Display a notice on our website or dashboard

Policy Application: Refund requests will be processed according to the policy in effect at the time of purchase. Changes to this policy will apply to purchases made after the effective date of the changes.
