Smart/TNT Network Support Update
March 02, 2026
We've updated our SMS validation system to prevent sending messages to Smart/TNT networks using shared sender names.
🚫 Smart/TNT Network Restriction
Smart/TNT networks do not accept shared sender names (such as iprogSMS, iprogOTP, iprogRemind, or iprogtech). As a result, messages sent to Smart/TNT numbers using these shared sender names will be blocked.
If you attempt to send a message to a Smart/TNT number, you'll receive an error message with instructions on how to proceed.
✅ Solution: Get Your Own Sender Name
To send messages to Smart/TNT networks, you need to get your own sender name approved. This will enable you to send messages to all networks including Smart/TNT, Globe, DITO, and more.
📝 How to Get Your Own Sender Name:
- Visit the Sender Names page to create a new sender name request
- Submit your sender name for approval (usually takes 15-20 days)
- Once approved, you can send messages to all networks including Smart/TNT
📱 Current Network Support
Shared sender names (iprogSMS, iprogOTP, iprogRemind, iprogtech):
- ✅ Globe and TM networks
- ✅ DITO network
- ❌ Smart/TNT networks (not supported)
Your own approved sender name:
- ✅ All networks including Smart/TNT, Globe, DITO, and more
💡 What This Means for You
- If you need to send messages to Smart/TNT numbers, apply for your own sender name
- Shared sender names continue to work perfectly for Globe, TM, and DITO networks
- Getting your own sender name gives you full network coverage and more control over your messaging
- This validation helps prevent failed deliveries and ensures better message delivery rates
Daily Limit and Fallback Sender Name Rules
March 02, 2026
To ensure reliable SMS delivery for all users, we've implemented a daily limit system with automatic fallback routing.
📊 Daily Limit System
- The daily limit ensures fair distribution of SMS capacity throughout the month
- Unused daily quota from the previous day can carry over to the next day (within the same month)
📱 Daily Limit Sender Names
When the daily limit is active (not exceeded), messages are sent using the following sender names:
- iprogSMS - for regular messages
- iprogOTP - for OTP verification messages
- iprogRemind - for reminder messages
⚠️ Network Support: These sender names work on Globe and TM networks, but do not support Smart/TNT networks.
🔄 Automatic Fallback System
- When the daily limit is reached, the system automatically switches to our fallback SMS provider
- This ensures uninterrupted service - your messages will still be sent without delays
- The fallback system activates automatically when daily quota is exhausted
- Administrators can also manually activate the fallback provider if needed
📝 Fallback Sender Name: "iprogtech"
When the fallback provider is active, messages will be sent with the sender name "iprogtech" instead of your custom sender name or the daily limit sender names (iprogSMS, iprogOTP, iprogRemind).
Fallback Sender Name: "iprogtech"
Important: The fallback sender name "iprogtech" works across most networks, but does not support Smart/TNT networks (same as the daily limit sender names: iprogSMS, iprogOTP, iprogRemind).
✅ What This Means for You
- Your messages will always be sent, even when daily limits are reached
- No action required on your part - the system handles fallback automatically
- Service continues uninterrupted, with messages using the "iprogtech" sender name during fallback periods
- Once the daily quota resets (or monthly quota resets), the system automatically returns to normal operation
